Deux Jours

Description

The hotel became the central space of this film: a place where guests leave temporary traces that are quietly erased, while those who work there accumulate memories, impressions, and silences that go largely unnoticed.

The Traces We Leave Behind follows Feline, a 56-year-old housekeeper whose days unfold in a steady rhythm of routine and invisibility, moving through intimate spaces of strangers, resting in empty rooms, waiting in corridors, seen by almost no one. When a young woman in her early thirties arrives as a guest, a quiet encounter forms between them: not a dramatic event, but a slow and careful observation of each other, how they move through space, where they pause, what they carry in silence. The film is about being seen unexpectedly, briefly, and just enough to leave something behind.
